Helen Sargeant
Reveal Project, Research and Dissemination
Helen Sargeant joined the Midlands Leadership Centre in January 2005 to provide research and dissemination support to the 5 West Midlands 14-19 Pathfinders. Her role has since evolved to work across various areas of MLC and Education Partnerships.
Helen has a career background in account management and marketing within commercial FMCG industries, the Higher Education sector, and most recently within other phases of education focusing on research and dissemination.
Research experience has involved a number of areas including qualification comparison, impact of elearning initiatives and technology, motivation and attitudes to language learning. Specific research projects have included identifying the impact of Digital Brain use on learners, teachers and institutions and a research project for QCA focusing on alternative KS4 Modern Foreign Language courses and qualifications.
Helen is also currently lead researcher on the REVEAL Project (Review of Electronic Voting and an Evaluation of uses within Assessment and Learning).
Helen has a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree and an MBA.
