(Interactive Technology in Education) SYMPOSIUM
The 2007 Symposium will be hosted by Professor Sir Geoff Hampton, Dean of Education, founder and Director of the Midlands Leadership Centre, University of Wolverhampton.
Sir Geoff was the first School Principal in England to be knighted for services to education - he transformed a failing school (Northcote) into a success. A trained teacher, he presented the Millennium lecture on Education to Prime Minister Tony Blair. He led the development of the Fresh Start Programme at the first City Academy, a leading school in a deprived urban area.
